What do I see when I look into your eyes?
Why, I see a grassy meadow, green faded away
Surrounding the green I see long, long clouds
Blackened clouds surrounding the grass
What do I see when I look into your eyes?
I see a tall skyscraper, taller than most
Climbing higher and higher as each day goes by
For it has not reached its full height.
What do I see when I look into your eyes?
I see a small, quiet bird that looks back upon me
If I were to pet it and release up into the sky
The bird would fly away, singing at last
What do I see when I look into your eyes?
I see a grassy meadow, green faded away
I see a tall skyscraper, taller than most
I see a small, quiet bird that looks back upon me
